The most beautiful insects

It is summer, nature shows itself from its best site. There are beautiful flowers everywhere and colourful butterflies are out on the blossoms. Create your own butterflies and make them fly in front of your own window! Colour it in any way you like, everything is allowed!

Materials:

  • solid colour paper (A4)
  • coloured board

Tools:

  • scissors
  • pen
  • thick, stub needle
  • Pritt PVA Craft Glue
  • Glitter powder and cut-outs

Instructions:

Step 1

Divide the paper in two parts by folding it. Place fold on the left side.

Step 2

Draw one of the butterfly's wings - the other side of the folded paper will become the second wing. Now cut the wings with scissors.

Step 3

Unfold the paper and remove the butterfly shape.

Step 4

Decorate its wings with Glitter.

Step 5

Your butterfly's body is a straw. Cut its upper part in two and separate the two halfes forming the antennas. Put the needle through the straw and attach it to the pearl.

Step 6

Glue the straw on the butterfly with Pritt PVA Craft Glue. Now release your butterfly!
