Magical wall decoration for girls
This is a craft idea for anyone who knows their stuff about fashion. It takes good taste and a good eye for colours to make these gleaming colourful dresses for fairy princesses out of paper. Why not invite your friends round and design different outfits for each season?
- photo paper
- craft paper
- tissue paper
- Pritt Original Stick
- felt tip pens
Print out the templates.
The circle will become the fairy dress. Trace the circle once onto the photo paper and again onto matching coloured craft paper. Cut out both circles.
Fold the craft paper circle in half, and then into quarters. Cut small triangles into the folds at the sides. You can also cut a small triangle into the bottom edge.
Carefully unfold the paper so that it doesn't tear. Then carefully glue it onto the photo paper circle.
Then spread glue over everything and scatter glitter above. Leave the glue to dry well.
Then cut the circle in half along the centre. After that, cut off a quarter of each half. You can use the folds as a guide. Now you have two skirts and two tops of the fairy dress. Then glue the point of the top to the point of the skirt.
Trace the fairy princess's arms, legs, face, hair and crown onto matching craft paper. Cut all of the parts out.
Stick each piece onto the back side of the fairy dress. Draw on a face with a felt tip pen.
Then cut the wings out from tissue paper. Stick them onto the back side of the fairy dress as well. If you gather the paper together a little in the middle, the wings have a particularly nice shape.
Finally, stick the second fairy dress onto it and your magical decoration for your room is finished.
